Fostering Greater Use of Digital Health Technology for Healthier Moms and Families

The Public Health Institute and the Helen Wallace Center for Maternal and Child Health partnered together on a project to explore the dynamics that affect the adoption and use of digital health tools, particularly among first-time pregnant women and mothers caring for children under the age of five. I was brought on to lead a short storyboarding session with the team and then develop the story, along with several of the visuals employed to enhance the story, including the infographic that you see. The project uses an interactive, data-driven platform called LiveStories to tell the story in a more compelling and engaging manner, with built-in, data-display functionality that my partner, Amy Max, programmed to help bring the story points to life.
