Youth Outside is dedicated to ensuring that the lived experience of all youth is honored as part of the outdoor experience.
In 2016, they collaborated with the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the Morgan Family Foundation to offer a Cultural Relevancy Series — a 6-month training for leaders from a variety of environmental organizations working to help underserved youth access and participate in outdoor education programs.
This case study was created to document the training and its outcomes. I was asked to assist with the graphic design of the case study as well as to provide some media support for spreading the word about the study.
